According to FDA Total Diet Study and www. foodnews.org « If a person eats a normal amount of fresh non organic fruit from a supermarket on a daily basis, in one year they will have also consumed about one gallon of pesticides. »

As you already understood that, you have started to buy organic food and less industrial food. You are also aware that in many countries obesity became a main issue, as World Health Organization noticed that there are « 2.8 million people dying each year as a result of being overweight or obese. »

Now the question is: do you prefer to digest chemicals through your digestive system or through your skin?

Cotton has long been considered as the healthiest fabric for the skin; however you have forgotten that cotton is a crop like corn and that as corn it receives tons of chemicals! According to various sources, while cotton uses only 2.4% of the world’s farming lands, its production involves 25% of the world’s pesticide use.

Role Foundation has launched a project called “Weaving Futures” involving a natural dying process of the cotton and a traditionnal weaving.

Currently, 4 women have been trained to the art of dying from plants and the traditional Balinese weaving.

Do you want to learn more about them?
