As part of their Healthy Environmental Training Program, twenty five students of SD No. 2 Jimbaran between the ages of 11-12 years old had a half day training of Waste to Wonder at Zero Waste to Oceans – Community Environment and Skills Center. Making the total trained students to 8072.
The students were asked about their knowledge about environment and then received eco passport sponsored by DPG Nusa Dua. The training include awareness regarding problem in our forest and oceans, soap and paper recycling, what is waste and 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) principle, recyclable and non-recyclable waste, composting, seed bank, seedling, Indonesian traditional herbal drink (jamu), natural dyes and weaving.
The training was finished with promise to keep Bali clean, green and healthy. They also enjoyed jamu beras kencur, lemongrass tea and traditional cakes.
