As part of their team building actvities, 10 people from Gameloft brought by TOP Indonesa holidays participated in our interactive training of Think Global Act Local at Zero Waste to Oceans – Community Environment and Skills Center in Sawangan, Nusa Dua Bali.
After being introduced to R.O.L.E. Foundation, each participants got an eco-passport sponsored by DPG Nusa Dua. After that they went to different stations to learn more about environmental problems and solutions in Bali. They learned about deforestation and problems related to oceans like unsustainable fishing and plastic pollution. They did paper recycling, soap upcycling, sharing on waste management, making seedlings and seed balls, identifying herbs, trying Indonesian traditional herbal drink (jamu), making tie-dye using natural color from sappan wood and traditional weaving.
They also enjoyed traditional cakes and lemon grass tea. All fund raised during this interactive training will goes to environmental education of women and local children of Bali.
