Restoring Nusa Dua Coral Reef

Around 80% of marine biodiversity relies on healthy coral reefs, which are vital for maintaining ocean ecosystems. Currently, Indonesia boasts some of the most diverse coral reefs in the world, but they are increasingly threatened by pollution and climate change. Every year, large areas of these reefs suffer degradation, resulting in the loss of marine life and habitats.

ZeroWaste Center by R.O.L.E. Foundation organizes coral reef restoration projects in the Nusa Dua area of Bali. After evaluating the reef conditions, our team plants coral fragments and monitors their growth. These efforts are supported by Bali Blue Harmony, providing expertise and resources to ensure successful restoration.  The goal is to minimize damage and rejuvenate the reefs.

Through coral reef restoration, ZeroWaste Center aims to raise awareness about marine conservation and biodiversity. We share this knowledge with local communities, fisherman, tourists, and students, encouraging them to take part in protecting our marine life.
By educating and involving the public, we strive to create a lasting impact on Bali’s marine environment.

Supporting our Coral Reef Restoration Program means contributing to the preservation of these essential underwater ecosystems. And together, we can safeguard the future of our oceans and ensure these natural treasures thrive for generations to come!
