Sustainable Beauty: Flower Station at ZeroWaste Center
The ZeroWaste Center has started developing the Flower Station to breed more flowers and eventually support beehive cultivation. The first month focused on designing, planning, and researching suitable plants for the area. In the second month, some seedlings were moved to bigger pots and slugs were dealt with. In the third month, the hot dry season affected the flowers, but they were watered diligently. The Flower Station construction is at 40%, with plans to develop more types of flowers and replace the transparent roof with paranet.

Almost 400 kg of Waste was Collected in Two Hours!
Jimbaran Beach is a popular tourist destination in Bali known for its breathtaking sunset views and delicious seafood. However, underneath the beauty lies a growing problem – the beach is constantly bombarded with waste that washes up from the ocean, turning the coastal line into a dumping ground. The situation seems never-ending, with waste coming from other regions around Bali. But, a glimmer of hope shone when a Beach Cleanup was conducted in March 2023. The event was organized to raise awareness among the local community and tourists, to encourage them to care more about the waste problem in the area. In just two hours, a total of 377.8 kg of non-organic waste, including 92% of residues, were collected. Learn more about the campaign and how it can help preserve the environment for future generations.
